Empowering local disciple-makers to catalyze gospel movements in their backyard
HOW DID IT START?
After we saw God start a movement in Lima (read all about it here), we realized God was giving us fruit not only among the unreached in far-flung nations among unreached people groups, but, right at home.
God showed us that people like the DBS 17:17 families, who were victims of gang violence, rampant drug addictions, prostitution, and more, were often overlooked by the local church because they lived in areas that were “too dangerous.”
But that’s exactly where God was moving and bringing fruit, and it became a great training ground to learn about movements as an organization and even equip people from within movements to be sent to the unreached.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Now, DBS Latin America has become a new branch of Reflejo, equipping Latino missionaries to catalyze gospel movements among the least reached in their contexts.
We want to get better at catalyzing movements in our context so we can multiply as we go to the ends of the earth!
