An emerging gospel movement in Lima, Peru
HOW DID IT START?
In 2023 Jessica, one of Reflejo’s leaders, started a Discovery Bible Study (DBS) for moms from a local school in Lima, Peru. The class began with 17 unbelievers, and six weeks later, 13 of them came to faith in Christ.
These moms wanted to impact their school and, with the help of local volunteers, began running DBS groups for parents. Since it went really well at the first school, they had open doors to host groups with students and parents in 7 more public schools in some of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Lima.
WHAT’S THE IMPACT?
In 2024, 1400+ people heard the gospel, and 150+ of them surrendered their lives to Jesus. In 2025, 400+ new people came to faith.
A school principal who has not yet accepted Christ as his Savior has told Jessica:
“I give you the keys to our school… violence has diminished, drug use, overdoses, prostitution, and suicide rates are lower… your group has changed history.”
