Erick’s Story

Four years ago, volunteers from RAP arrived at Erick's church in the Dominican Republic. Erick's pastor invited him to participate in a missions event organized by RAP, and he accepted.

During that event, Erick discovered a passion for mobilization and realized that he needed to get involved to help more people and churches pray and hear a call to be missionaries among the Pashtun. The Pashtun are a group of 65 million people without the gospel, and Erick understood that they needed many more missionaries among them.

Gradually, Erick took steps of faith, first as a volunteer, and later he was invited to coordinate the team that focused on reaching churches in the Dominican Republic with this invitation to reach the Pashtuns.

Over time, Erick has grown in his leadership, and now he mentors RAP leaders in 17 different countries. To do this, Erick decided to take a leap of faith and leave his job to dedicate himself to training mobilizers and missionaries full-time.

Stories like Erick's remind us that Latinos can dream and achieve great things for the Great Commission.
