A digital cloud of Latin American witnesses serving cross-culturally

NubeDoce

One of the most common reasons we hear from Latinos as to why they’re not involved in missions is: “I’ve never heard we [Latinos] could do it!”

But Latinos have a great cloud of witnesses in Latino missionaries who’ve gone before and shown us the way. If their stories are shared, the Latin church can be further inspired to get involved in missions, and maybe, who knows, some of those missionaries sharing their stories will find new partners to join them in the field, pray fervently or even support them financially.

Why Share Stories?

NubeDoce is a combination of two Spanish words: nube + doce. Nube means cloud and doce means twelve, as in Hebrews 12, where the cloud of witnesses is mentioned.

NubeDoce took the cloud of witnesses term a bit literally, it’s Latino missionary stories on the cloud

We’re reaching out to missionaries from various Latin countries, organizations and backgrounds and collecting their stories into a virtual space where the Latin American church can be exposed to testimony after testimony of Latino missionaries being faithful and fruitful.

Our BHAG is, if a critical mass of an audience is reached, that we can turn NubeDoce into the first crowdfunding space for Latino missionaries by Latino missionaries.
