An emerging gospel movement in Lima, Peru.

In 2023 Jessica, one of Reflejo’s leaders, started a Discovery Bible Study (DBS) for moms from a local school in Lima, Peru. The class began with 16 unbelievers and six weeks later, 13 of them came to faith in Christ.

These moms wanted to impact their school and with the help of local volunteers, began doing DBS groups for parents. Since it went really well at the first school, they had open doors to host groups with students and parents in 7 more public schools in some of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Lima.

How did it start?

In 2024, over 1400 people in schools and home studies springing out of parenting groups have heard, more than 150 surrendering their lives to Jesus, baptisms, a church plant and student leaders emerging.

A school principal who has not yet accepted Christ as his Savior has told Jessica, “I give you the keys to our school… violence has diminished, drug use, overdoses, prostitution and suicide rates are lower… your group has changed history.”
