Latinos Reaching Tajiks (LATE)

Summary:

Tajiks are an unreached people group with over 20 million people from Tajikistan and Afghanistan who need the gospel. LATE, the 'Latinos Reaching Tajiks with the Gospel' ministry is a Latin missionary movement that focuses on galvanizing the Latin American church toward reaching Tajiks with the Gospel. LATE understands that within the Latin American Church, God will raise many intercessors, donors, churches, and missionaries who want to reach Tajiks.

LATE was launched in 2023 and has since launched teams in 5 different Latin countries, focusing on informing and empowering Latin churches to engage in the mission of making the gospel accessible to all Tajiks.

Opportunities:

LATE is always looking for new volunteers, and if you want to learn about how to get involved as a mobilizer or intercessor, you can click here.

If you have a call to be a missionary towards Tajiks yourself, let us know here.

Needs:

LATE has two main funding needs:

  1. LATE - Expansion Initiative
Over the next 6 month period, the LATE team is focused on consolidating their volunteer teams and deepening relationships with churches in 7 countries in Latin America. They also look forward to expanding the network to 2 more Spanish-speaking countries. Project Need - $3,350

  2. Jessica Calderon - LATE Director
Jessica launched LATE in 2023 after leading RAP (another Reflejo mobilization ministry) as its Global Mobilization Director for 2 years. Jessica has taken the leap of faith to be invested full-time in LATE to give her team the focus needed to fulfill LATE's mission. Jessica is from Peru and lives in Lima with her mother and son.
